I am just trying ACID Music Studio 7 for the first time. I want to import mp3 files into a project, but the inbuilt explorer cannot see this type of file. I have tried changing the file type to look for from media to all, but it does not make any difference. I am presuming the program should be able to bring in mp3 files? Tks for your help. |

Load anything you can onto the tlmeline and render to a new MP3 file. This may bring up a dialog box allowing you to register the MP3 plugin. After this you should be able to load MP3 files. |

Hi - thanks for the tip - it was a partial success! I rendered a file to MP3 and can now see this file in the explorer window. I stll can't see other MP3 files though (which are definitely there, I can open them in media player for instance). Any other suggestions? Thanks |

Do you have a tiny one you could upload somewhere or email to me? I'll see if it shows up here. |

Aha - sorted! Seems I was lookining into the wrong directory, just realised that Windows 7 has the concept of libraries - the contents of the Document library not being quite the same as the contents in 'My Documents' - but close to confuse me! many thanks for your help. |

Congrats! Glad you figured it out. Hmmmm. Is that another one of Windows 7's new "helpful" features that i'll have to shut off if i ever use it? |
