Subject:Distorted sound when previewing wavs in Acid; fix?

Hi -

I like acid a lot, using 7.0 pro, quick question - often when I click on files inside acid's explorer to preview, both during track playback and not, it's almost always distorted, the preview... how to fix that?

the wavs sound like they're warbling, distorted, not clean preview... using winxp, lots of memory etc.

What does the information at the bottom of the Explorer window list when you click on a particular sample? ACID applies its timestretching ability on samples such as Loops based on the current project's key and tempo in the Explorer window.
