Mono playback and record problems -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Mono playback and record problems Posted by: jorainbo Date:4/29/2001 11:02:20 PM I am using Sound Forge 5.0 with a Seasound Soloist. I recorded a voice track at 44.1, 16 bit, mono. When I played the track back, the audio sounded normal, but the wave form was condensed and it appeared as though the track was playing back much faster than the actual output. When I recorded a voice track into Sound Forge in stereo, the track played back fine and the waveform was normal. Has anyone else experienced this? I have tried recording in mono with other programs, and they all seem to be fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Rick
