slow plugin previews - Batch processing?? -Sound Forge - PC

Posted by: JoeD Date:4/27/2001 6:16:55 PM Why is it when I'm previewing audio in SF 5.0 (say a large stereo file, either 16\44.1 or 24\44.1) with my plugins does act so slow? If I press PREVIEW to audition a chain of plugins...why is it when I press STOP does it take so GODDAMN long to stop? Hourglass sits there for a while ...THEN it stops. SF 4.5 doesn't have this problem AT ALL. I can chain a slew of plugins in the chainer...and press preview and stop and they act as they should. IN FACT, EVERYTHING IS MORE SLUGISH WITH 5.0. Why? What is going on? (and it's not my system...so don't start from that angle) SF 5.0 Batch Processing: WHERE THE HELL IS IT? You said March. Some of us need this to do audio work.
