howdy all... anyone (mostly Peter :) ever mention/desire a faster way to get to the preferences menu? i have various configuration settings that need tweaked per project and it'd be nice if 1 click could get me there instead of 2, etc. Message last edited on12/9/2009 12:01:14 PM byKappeesh. |

You could use the keyboard: Alt+O+P You could also assign a specific key stroke. Alt+P is unused by default, so you could use this. Right click on any track or in a blank area of the track time line will present "Preferences..." also. Peter |

thanks! just wondering...could an iconned button for audio devices (what i need to get to regularly) be a part of the layout the same way the project setting button is? also could a similar button for user templates be implemented? i am always adding kitcore and kontact to my projects. 1 button to this would be great! No. The functionality does not exist in ACID. could a similar button for user templates be implemented? ACID does not have templates, so you cannot set up a button for this type of functionality. There are many different workflows that different users want. I don't like to judge one as being better or worse. Templates I can understand for synth/bus/mixer layouts. I don't understand why you need to change out your hardware configuration as often as to need a tool bar button to make it easy. Peter |

templates: ideally they shoulld be loadable anytime. curently you can save a blank file with what ever soft synths, setting, etc. i would like to add these after the fact. say i'm working with multiple midi songs and each song needs to have: kitcore, kompakt and aria (or other combo). user preset with 1 button press would be magic. audio devices: yes it's no big deal to get to various hardware with a few clicks. but it could be quicker ;) Message last edited on12/23/2009 1:44:44 PM byKappeesh. |
