if i were to buy a used copy of Acid Music Studio would there be any problems with activation (as long as i have the serial number and activation code) or problems with subsequent upgrades? t h a n k s |

Contact Sony's customer support and ask if that serial number has been authorized for transfer. The activation code doesn't matter because that's tied to each individual computer, so it's useless or subsequent installs anyway. If they say it's ok they'll issue you a new serial number and deactivate the old one in order to make sure the previous owner no longer has access. If the previous owner used that serial number to upgrade then you can't upgrade, even with your new serial number. If they hadn't, then you can. |

Thanks for taking the time to spell that out. Sounds like it's probably not worth it to buy used. |
