howdy all,
just wondering...
how many of you could use an iconned button for various audio devices (what i need to get to regularly) be a part of the layout the same way the project setting button is? maybe next to it?

also a similar button for user templates could be implemented. i am always adding kitcore and kontact to my projects. 1 button to do this after you've started adding media would be great!

How would acid know what device to link icon to?

I'm sure we would all love to have some custom icons, but work flow habits are basically
unique to the individual, there would never be enough buttons to keep everyone happy.
