I downloaded the Acid Pro 7 free trial. Installed it, paid for it, entered the serial number Sony emailed me and great, up and running. But; where is the bundled software I also have serial numbers for. I see at the Sony site: Included with ACID Pro 7 software New! ACID Pro 7 includes software for professional music production and editing, including ACID Pro Effects Rack, powered by iZotope, Garritan Aria for ACID Pro Player, Submersible Music KitCore, and Native Instruments Guitar Combos. Included with ACID Pro 7 But where is it? Message last edited on12/11/2009 9:13:15 PM byJohn McCully. |

If you didn't choose to pay for the option to have the bundled software, etc, sent to you on DVD then you will need to download it. If you have registered Acid Pro with the Sony website you should be able to click on "My Account" at the top of this page and then choose "My Software". This will give you a list of the software registered to your account, together with a note of your serial numbers and links to download the software again if you should ever need to. Click on the link for Acid Pro 7.0 and you will be taken to a page where you can download both the Acid software and also the bundled elements - iZotope, Garritan, etc. Hope you've got a fast reliable internet connection cos there's about 1.5 GB of it. (Hence the option to have it sent on DVD.) Mark |

Thanks Mark, but for the life of me I can't locate a page where I might download the bundled software other than here but this is a purchase option and I already made the purchase.: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/buy/acidpro Yes, I can download ' ACID Pro 7 (Download) Includes downloadable versions of ACID Pro software (135 MB), ACID Pro content (2.9 GB), bundled software (1.5 GB), and the product manual (PDF). ' but I already paid for Acid Pro 7. I downloaded the demo which seemingly did not include the bundled software. If you can point me to a page where I might download the bundled (free) software I shall be very grateful. And yes, the list of my previously purchased software along with the serials is a very helpful feature I was aware of. I have quite a long list there. I'm all for free stuff like this but given the huge size of the download and given that it will cost me an extra maybe $50.00 with shipping is it worth it, do you think? Many thanks for your input on this, much appreciated. John |

the only way i know of getting to the bundled software downloads is.... up above, click on 'MY ACCOUNT'. then you'll see 'MY SOFTWARE'. then under your AP7 row...click 'DOWNLOAD' under the 'free update column'. then you'll see all the goodies for AP7. |

That's what I told him, but he wouldn't have it. Perhaps you explained it better. Anyway, looks like he's found it now. Mark |

@MARKWWW...I understood your instructions because I've took that route on the pages before. But, I can see how it can get confusing where everything is located. I know i had a problem trying to find it when i purchased AP7. That's why i added more to your instructions by saying..."then under your AP7 row...click 'DOWNLOAD' under the 'free update column'." That's NOT what you told me Mark. Read your post again. And where do you get the idea 'I wouldn't have it'? No need to be rude. Keep it civil if you please. And I repeat, thanks for the initial input. And yes, Krashem, it is a tad confusing, especially for an idiot like me. I really appreciate the detailed instructions. Spot on, indeed I found the download site. Perhaps Sony might make that more obvious. Cheers John Message last edited on12/13/2009 1:23:52 PM byJohn McCully. |
