Subject:Meida Manager 2.4 - find untagged items

I have a media library with 62,749 items. They are all Sonic Foundry/Sony content. Some of the items are from very old CDs and don't have any tags. My question is there any way to do a search and find all items that have no tags. I tried selecting not and then the Sony Sound Series Loops & Samples Tag but I got an error message - basically Media Manager closed the Library.

Are you trying to find the media so that you can tag them?

There is no easy way around this unless you've organized your old media so that they are in their own folders. (I was thinking that you could create a new media library for the express purpose of adding your old media to this library and saving your tags to the media.)

Thanks, they are pretty much organised in folders and I already started doing as you suggested but it is still a laborious process to make sure everything is tagged. There really ought to be an easy way to pull out items according to the number of tags they have.
