Subject:"Insert silence" in one channel?

Is there an easy way to insert silence (e.g. 10ms) in only
one channel in a stereo sample? This creates a
nice "stereo" effect on a mono recording w/acoustic guitar.
I usually insert silence in a copied version of a mono
sample, and then create a final stereo sample, but with 20
takes per hour this is pretty cumbersome.

You cannot insert silence on one channel, but you can apply
delay to one channel. Hopefully this will achieve the
desired effect.
