Subject:I feel the need for speed

I have a Pent. III 500 processor, 384 MB RAM, a Cheetah
SCSI hard drive (10K RPM). Is there anyway to speed up the
processing or manipulating of files? Is Sound Forge a
"multi-thread" application? Would it help to upgrade to
multiple processors, or getting a RAID card and 2 SCSI
drives?
