Subject:SoundForge 5.0 Installation problem - help please...

Hi,

While installing the complete installation from the SF 5.0
CD I receive the following error:

Error 1904
Module C:\Program Files\Sonic
Foundary\Shared\Plug-ins\SfUtilities\sfconfigmgr.dll failed
to register.
HRESULT - 2147023739

Does anybody have any suggestions as to why I get this
error, or does anybody know what the sfconfigmgr.dll
actually does and what functionality I may be losing by not
having this dll registered??

We've seen this error a couple times, but it does not seem
to have any effect on the performance of Sound Forge.
Please let us know if you have any problems related to this
error.

hey, I got the same error, even on a clean install of SF
5.0.
Well, I discovered that SF needs the network access to be
installed (which was not the case because my system is
dedicated to audio).
If it's your case, just install the network access from
your windows cd-rom
and it should work!
