Subject:64-Bit VST Plugins?

I'm guessing the answer to this is no, but I'll ask anyway.

I'm running Windows 7 (64-bit) and Acid Pro 7.0c. I installed the 64-bit version of YellowTool's Independence Free VST, but it isn't registering properly in ACID. (I can see the entry listed, but clicking ReScan on it does nothing). Can I assume that we can't use 64-bit VST plugins with ACID since ACID is still 32-bit?

Correct. Only a 64bit host could load a 64bit plugin.
