Subject:Loop Identification problem

I have a loop made in Acid by pressing ctrl+m. I edited the loop in SoundForge 10a keeping just a small portion. If I check the properties in Acid's Explorer it tells me it is a loop but when I bring it into Acid it is beatmapped. Opening the loop in SoundForge 10a and that tells me it is beatmapped and it won't let me change to loop. Open up the same loop in SoundForge 8 and that tells me it is a loop. What is going on! making loops with older versions of Acid was straightforward but something is skewed with Acid 7. I hope it is my settings and not a bug. Can someone please help. Thanks, Kit |

I'm trying to repro but cannot seem to do so. How long (in time) is this particular sample? Iacobus |

Thanks for testing this. Now I think it is not Acid 7 at fault but Sound Forge 10a. Basically it won't let me change the acid properties from beatmapped to loop. Even if the sample is just two seconds long. It is possible to make the change in Acid and then resave the loop but opening them up in SF10a doesn't work. SF8 seems to work so I think I'm going to go back to that. Kit |
