The problem is that if I paste from one file to another and then save, the rebuilt file didn't display the addition. If I re-opened the file, it was there. In 10a, the rebuilt file shows a blank bit at the end where I've added something, which plays OK but isn't visible. If I re-open it's there and visible. This is really inconvenient since I do this basic editing an awful lot, building up sound files for radio shows. Ideas anyone ?
