Hi, I'd created a bunch of projects in Acid Pro 5.0. I recently had to switch over to Music Studio 7 and am having some trouble when I open my old projects. I basically had all my tracks as 'one shot's, now they're being auto-beatmapped or looped. When this used to happen in 5.0 I would just switch the file type back to 'one shot' and it would be fixed, but when I do this in 7.0 the "clips" are in the wrong places of my tracks. Is this a common problem? There isn't a compatibility mode or something is there? |

Solved my own problem, posting in case it proves useful to someone else. It seems acid auto-beatmapping everything was the problem. While you can tell it not to do that for individual files, when you open whole projects it reverts back and starts beatmapping. The fix is to open all your wav files in soundforge, go to special, and change the acid settings to one shot. Hope you've got both programs. |
