I record a clip in Acid 7c open up the Clip in SoundForge 10a and crop. When I save and go back to Acid typically Acid has lopped off the front of the clip. Worse it won't let me pull the clip out to the left to get to the beginning of the clip. Is this a know bug? It makes editing clips very awkward. Thanks, Kit |

When you say you "crop" the file in Sound Forge, what exactly did you do? ACID Pro 7 records as Beatmapped or One Shots. Neither of these formats permit you to drag the start of the clip beyond its beginning. Only files that are loops can be extended in either direction. Thanks for the clarification about dragging, Peter. What I did was select the clip, open it up in Sound Forge, crop blank space at the beginning and end of the clip, save and close Sound Forge. The resulting clip in Acid does not match the edit in Sound Forge. Typically the first part of the clip is cut off. Acid Pro 7 can't record a loop? How does Acid decide whether a recording is beatmapped or oneshot? Older versions used to have a setting for recording as loops. What happened to this? Thanks, Kit |
