Subject:SF5 Crashes with Waves 3.01

Everytime start FS with the latest waves gold package
installed it crashes my machine.
Does it under both win98 and win2k.
I got the latest drivers for
MATROX g400
VIA chipset
CPU AMD

Are you running win98se? and DX8?I m running win98se with
Acid 3.0 and SF5.0 and the WAves NGB 3.01. my cpu is a
P3 800. I haven't had any crashes. btw did you have NGB 2.8
before 3.0?

If it crashes your machine - not just Forge - then this is
a Wave problem that we have seen. The problem is with the
PACE copy protection that Waves uses. It hooks itself into
the file i/o subsystem and can cause a BSOD.

Contact Waves and obtain the latest PACE driver.
