Subject:ACID Pro 3.0 beta install failure

I was delighted to see that the beta has been released but
my enthusiasm was short-lived as the installer refuses to
believe that my PC has Win98SE installed and so won't
install it. A bummer.

Did you do all your direct x updates first this might help

There are 3 direct x updates you have to do
DirectX 8.0aEng
DirectX Runtime
DirectXMovie Update
Not exactly sure what that last one is called but its at
the sane site as the runtime that sonic foundrys links take
you to
