Subject:Noise reduction plug-in not enabled

I just installed SF 10a and the noise reduction plug-in is not accessable (in fact it disappeared from my SF 8 version also). How do I enable it?? Also, I find that the volume increase or decrease tool is not very accurate. When I try to decrease volume by a certain amount the tool doesn't match my designated amount. Any ideas??

Download and reinstall NR-2. (???)
In the Vol. process, select "More" and choose a more linear crossfade. In addition set the "Wet Gain" parameter to 0.00 and "Dry Gain" to -Inf. (if it's not at that default setting already)
You can also go to "Options> Preferences> Editing" and set a default for all processes.
