I need to record GR4 into ACID. Do I run it as a plugin? How do I monitor the plugin while playing live? I can record direct/dry and add the effect later, but I would need to actually hear the processing as I play. Ideally I would just record the processed guitar, ie "print effect to tape". I cannot figure out how to do this, it is driving me crazy. |

Set up and input bus with GR4 on the bus. Set your input on the track(s) to the input bus and record as usual. You can choose to monitor at the bus by routing the input bus to the master or a sub bus or at the track by enabling input monitoring. You can also set up a track with GR4 on it and enable input monitoring. This would be the 'dry' mode of recording. If you use an input bus, I would suggest you set up a second track that takes its input directly from the hardware and record it as well. That way you will have both the 'wet' signal recorded on one track and the dry signal that you can process later if you need to. Peter |

Is all this possible in Acid Studio? I just can't seem to get it to work. |
