I'm posting this here because I know J. (ForumAdmin) is more likely to see it than in the Vegas forum. I have Sound Forge Pro 7, Vegas Pro 8.0c, and DVDA Pro 5 installed on my laptop. I recently installed the trial version of Movie Studio Platinum 9 so I could get a feel for the rendering template differences between that and Vegas Pro. I discovered that all the Help programs in all three professional versions had stopped working. No response. Nada. I was able to restore the Help functions by doing a Repair Install of all three programs. I know from past experience to back up the Shared Plug-Ins folder every time I install or remove a trial version. Are there help files and other folders I should be backing up too? Any light that can be shed on this will be appreciated. |

Can't help but here to say the EXACT same thing just happened to me. For the life of me I don't know why the links are broken. The help files are there but the core program is not picking them up. |

Forgot to ask. How to I re-establish the links? There is no repair option using the Control Panel. Just re-install over existing? |

Use the .msi file in your Sony Setup folder. |

That will work for Vegas and DVDA. But Sound Forge Pro v10 doesn't leave a Sony setup folder. |
