It says "Loading REX Shared Library.dll" and hangs. I'm using Windows 7 x64. Also the developers really need to improve on the starting time of all Sony apps. I can load Windows 7 faster than most of the Sony products. |

Well I fixed it by booting W7 into safe mode and loaded Acid. Now it works. |

ACID Pro 7 is not officially supported under Windows 7 - 32 or 64 bit. I would try removing the REX VST and try again. Peter |

I found there were 8 of those files. I updated each one to the most recent. The safe mode did the trick. Sony should consider making Acid 7, Windows 7 compatible or supported or whatever it's called. It is working fine in W7 as a 32 bit app. |

We are working on an update to provide Windows 7 compliance. No, I don't know when it will be released. While we don't officially support Windows 7, I have not had any problems and many users run ACID Pro 7 under Windows 7 - 32 and 64 bit. So, are you saying that you solved the problem so that you don't have to run in safe mode? You should not have to run in Safe Mode. It really limits what Windows can do. Peter |

No, only had to boot into Safe Mode once and let Acid do it's startup. I only had to do this once. The problem may have been from some plugins that are DX/VST, have a Rex Shared dll in their program folders and some had older versions. So I copied and replaced those with the recent versions. |

Just curious if the next release of Acid will be 64 bit. |
