Hi, Have used many different versions of SF over the past 10 years and recently bought SF 10. The jury's out as to what I think of it because I'm having so many issues which I hope are just teething problems. Anyway, in previous versions of SF, when I clicked Save As, the file extension didn't appear (as set in Windows Tools/Folder Options 'Hide Known File Extensions'). I have set up Windows to hide file extensions, but SF's Save As dialogue still shows them. This is an issue when I'm saving lots of files with convoluted filenames, but I just want to increment a character at the end. I usually just click Save As, click an existing filename in the list, and then change the last character. But now I have a .wav to delete or navigate around. Is there any way I can stop the file extension appearing? Thanks, Walt |
