BorderFX Bug:Issue remains for VP9a, VP9b, VP9c...

Not sure if I am missing something here, but there is flagarant bug in the video Border FX.

Am I the only one with this issue? When I ran the same exact project in Vegas 8, there was no jump at all in border width. Worked fine.

The Border FX width had a visual jump on Vegas Pro 9.0a, 9.0b, 9.0c. Vegas 8 is just fine.

In the Border FX dialog, there are no keyframes aside from keyframe #1.

This certainly seems like a rather rudimentary effect.

I would love to switch over to VP9, exclusively (I own it) but I just never know what I will find next. This bug burned me pretty badly with a project on a very short deadline where every hour is important.

This is really, really frustrating

I've used the Sony Borders FX on some of my Vegas 9(abc) Pro (32-bit) projects and have not seen this problem. I also just set up a dummy project and I am not able to duplicate your issue. Perhaps you could zip up a veg file that displays the problem so we can download and attempt to duplicate it?

KW, can you do me a favour? Can you try to repro this by openning the V8 project that works, IN VP9? See if you get a repro as a result of making VP9 use the VP8 project?

At the moment the only thing that comes to mind is some intermittent 2D Shadow/Glow keyframe that would seem to be appearing momentarily just real close to the beginning of the track?

Failing that, and not having the VP9 project, to do any forensics on it, maybe you have the Pre- Post- toggle thing working against you?

I will take a look at this when I get home.

I know before project in Vegas 8 = OK.

Open the same Veg in Vegas 9, render, the problem shows up.

I rarely ever have problems with anything like this ever. Everything just works. Not so on just this 1 border thing. Border size also did not seem to matter.

Not sure it it matters, but this was generated by Ultimate S, MotoPhoto routine.

I can reproduce this behavior just by resizing an image with Pan/Crop, keyframing it to move across the frame, and then adding the stock Sony Solid White Border (toggle the pre-crop button). The border does jump. Seems to be very reproducible for me in Vegas Pro 9.0c.

I just tried to reproduce again, this time resizing and adding the Border FX to the Event using Pan/Crop rather than Track Motion but am still not seeing the border jumping. (Using Vegas Pro 9.0c)
