i'm doing a 3d movie, an animated feature-length film. it's
about 149 minutes long...

i need a program to record several tracks for the movie:
voices, sound effects, and finally, music.

i've been told sonic foundry has great stuff... but can
anyone tell me more specifically, what exactly would i
need? this soundtrack business is the one aspect i'm not
really familiar with here...

thanks in advance!

Rich, Within the Sonic Foundry family Vegas is the program
you want. It makes recording, editing, and mixing disparate
elements a breeze. It's non-destructive of the original
files and very fast to work with. I use it only for audio
presently so I can't comment on its video features. It's a
truly remarkable piece of software. - Doug
