i'm doing a 3d movie, an animated feature-length film. it's about 149 minutes long... i need a program to record several tracks for the movie: voices, sound effects, and finally, music. i've been told sonic foundry has great stuff... but can anyone tell me more specifically, what exactly would i need? this soundtrack business is the one aspect i'm not really familiar with here... thanks in advance! |

Rich, Within the Sonic Foundry family Vegas is the program you want. It makes recording, editing, and mixing disparate elements a breeze. It's non-destructive of the original files and very fast to work with. I use it only for audio presently so I can't comment on its video features. It's a truly remarkable piece of software. - Doug |
