I think my problem is with Waves RCL. I renamed the dll and was able to load the program. I have never had this problem before. I have been able to use it in track fx chains with no problem. I think this is the issue. Bummer!

Actually, that didn't do the trick every time. I had to rename ANY waves plugs, even non track-FX plugs that were in assignable FX busses. Also IK CSR.

This is on a very simple project with four stereo stem tracks.

What version of Waves are you using?

In your VSTPlugins director , what are the actual Waves DLL names?
