Subject:Acid crashing

It crashed when I was loading a project at 1%. Repeatedly. It had been loading the same stuff just fine before that. So I loaded an earlier version and it worked, same plugs just more tracks and edits. I removed GR4 and put in some compressors and more tracks. It now crashes at 26 percent no matter how many times I restart.

Clues?

I loaded the bak file and it worked. Then I loaded the acd and IT worked! So n/m!

Now on version 9 and it is doing a crash at 1% again. What is the deal with this? It was running fine. I saved tracks and acd to two folders and rebooted just to be safe. Now both new versions crash. WTF! No real new elements other than one shots and some edits. Very few compared to my edits in 1.0d, which never crashed, even with tons of plugs and 140 tracks.
