Subject:MIDI import - wrong notes

I am really struggling getting started with Acid 7. I want to import a simple type 0 MIDI drum pattern set. I write click and select "add to project with events" but it seems to be importing it on the wrong notes, i.e. the GM drums are not the correct drums.

The user interface and me and not getting along. . . Thanks!

Are you sure the file you are importing is authored for GM drum maps?

Did you set the track(s) to drum patch?

What happens if you import the file as a project?
