I can't find this info - is SF 9 compatible with Windows 7? I know that 7 Pro will have an XP Compatibility Mode, but that doesn't seem to make any promises. Has anyone tested it out yet? Any word about SF 10's compatibility with Windows 7?

Hi

From my experience SF 9 will install and work perfectly on Win 7 (64 bit anyway).

SF10 won't install on Win 7 (64 bit) - and according to Sony, SF10 isn't supported on Win 7 - despite Win 7 being released next week.

Bit difficult to work out why Sony wouldn't have ensured SF10 worked on Win 7 before it was released.

I expect there will be a patch at some point for SF10 so it can work on Windows 7. Otherwise, that would be a monumental blunder by Sony.

W7 Pro & Ultimate include XP mode. Any idea if one has a working installed copy of SF10, then upgrades the OS to W7 Pro/U 64, can SF10 be run in XP mode on such a system?

i upgraded my vista 32 box to win 7 pro 32. sf9 works fine, as well as vegas 9b and sonar 8.5.1.
