I am running SF XP 4.5 and was told that SF would allow me to turn my voice into a robotic voice or electronic, like Cher did in her song, or like Daft Punk has done, kinda making it sound like a computerized voice, please help. |

You need a vocoder plugin to achieve this sound. Although I've played with one of them called fxpansion (http://www.fxpansion.com/) there are a lot of others out there. They are a little tricky. You sample a wav or part of a song that you want the vocal to sound like(ex keyboard)and it changes the output (ex voice) to the characteristics of the sample wave (keyboard). K-ci & JoJo also use this effect in there current song "Crazy". I believe most use a hardware type vocoder to simplify production, but with a little work you can get the software to make a similar effect. Search the web for others and try them out too. Hope this helps. Jamzz |

I am using SF5 and it has a delay effect that can be tweeked to give a good robotic voice. I have used this at times on Radio commercials. This might be available as an ad on module for XP 4.5. I have not used this version but I believe some modules are available. Bill Woolford. |
