Although I've played with one of them called fxpansion (http://www.fxpansion.com/) there are a lot of others out there. They are a little tricky. You sample a wav or part of a song that you want the vocal to sound like(ex keyboard)and it changes the output (ex voice) to the characteristics of the sample wave (keyboard). K-ci & JoJo also use this effect in there current song "Crazy". I believe most use a hardware type vocoder to simplify production, but with a little work you can get the software to make a similar effect. Search the web for others and try them out too. This might be available as an ad on module for XP 4.5. I have not used this version but I believe some modules are available. Bill Woolford.
