monitor recording with a send FX -ACID Product Family

When I arm the REC button on the audio track, I can hear the send FX and the reverb, but the moment I begin recording by hitting the Master REC button, I lose the ability to monitor the FX and only hear the track's dry signal. I would like to be able to hear the reverb as I record so I can play reacting to the FX. Is this normal? Can I only monitor when recording and hear the FX if I am using an insert FX, not a send? I know this was the case in AP6, but I thought they had updated this in AP7. Am I setting it up wrong? Pls help, Thanks!

The send on the track should be active during record. I have tried this and it works as expected. What reverb plugin are you using? The more details you provide on your project routing and set up, the better. Peter

What reverb plugin are you using?

The more details you provide on your project routing and set up, the better.
