There is a pdf file from Tascam that describes the Mackie Control Emulation here. We also provide a white paper that disucsses how the MCU driver works in ACID and Vegas. While not specific to the Tascam, it will provide you with the information to get going. These docs are located here. One important aspect that you will have to configure for the Tascam is toggling automation mode on and off from the Tascam. The MCU has a button that is assigned for this. The Tascam does not. You will have to find an unused button on the Tascam and assign it accordingly to the Automation mode toggle function that is exposed by the Mackie Control driver provided with ACID.
