The FW 1082 emulates the Mackie Control. ACID support the Mackie Control Universal and devices that emulate it. There is a pdf file from Tascam that describes the Mackie Control Emulation here. We also provide a white paper that disucsses how the MCU driver works in ACID and Vegas. While not specific to the Tascam, it will provide you with the information to get going. Download Using a Mackie Control Universal with ACID and Vegas You should also review Using a Behringer BCF2000 with ACID 6.0 As it describes how to set up a device that emulates the MCU using ACID. These docs are located here. One important aspect that you will have to configure for the Tascam is toggling automation mode on and off from the Tascam. The MCU has a button that is assigned for this. The Tascam does not. You will have to find an unused button on the Tascam and assign it accordingly to the Automation mode toggle function that is exposed by the Mackie Control driver provided with ACID.
