Best low memory Soft Synth player besides KONTAKT? -ACID Product Family

I find that when using KONTAKT player, after I have inserted 4-5 MIDI tracks, the program runs out of memory. Therefore I am looking for a softsynth player that would use less memory than KONTAKT, so I can increase the number of MIDI tracks per session What have you all found is best here--low memory, high selection of samples? You should not have a problem as you describe. Running multiple instances or even one instance of Kontakt should work with out issue. What exactly does the error message look like? Is it reported by Kontakt or ACID? How do you get it to occur? If you could provide step by step the procedure you use to cause this problem, that would be helpful. ACID cannot see more than 2 gb of memory. ACID is a 32 bit app. It does not support the addess extension that the 3GB switch allows in 32 bit XP/Vista. You will never see the 12 GB as only a native 64 bit app can address the full memory space. Peter
