Subject:Has Pitch Bend been replaced by Elastique?

I can't transfer my custom pitch bend presets from previous versions of SF to V10 and it doesn't show up using the Preset Manager. I'm wondering if others have this same issue and if so, is it because the elastique plug has replaced pitch bend in Sound Forge 10? Also, pitch bend is not showing up in the plug-in chainer, the plug-in manager, or the FX Favorites menu.

Pitch Bend is a native effect, not a plug-in. It has never been available for use in the plug-in chainer nor appeared in FX Favorites. It still resides under Effects->Pitch->Bend.

Perhaps you mean Pitch Shift?

Also, which version of Preset Manager are you running? The latest is 2.0k, available on the Download page under Utilities.

Thanks. No, I really meant pitch bend. I never realized it wasn't available as a plug-in. So is there any other way to transfer these user presets from older SF versions, or do you just have to recreate them each time?

I am able to move a custom Pitch Bend preset created in Forge 9.0 to Forge 10.0 via Preset Manager 2.0k.

Which version of Preset Manager are you using and which version of Forge were the presets created in?

I have Preset Manager 2.0K and the presets were created with SF 8. I also found an earlier version of the same presets which were created with SF V6 (which I know goes a long ways back ;)).

I am also able to move Pitch Bend presets created in Forge 8.0 to Forge 10.0 with Preset Manager 2.0k. Where exactly are you having difficulty?

I appreciate your attempts to help, but the main problem is this. I used Preset Manager 2.0K to transfer all my presets from SF 8 to 10 which went fine (including Pitch Bend). However, then I completely uninstalled SF8 which is where the trouble began. After doing so, most of the custom presets were lost including Pitch Bend and other plug-in presets. In addition, SF 10 no longer worked properly. For example, certain native FX would not display with in the program such as chorus, simple delay, etc. Finally I just uninstalled and reinstalled SF 10 and recreated the lost presets.
