Subject:Routing a MIDI signal to an FX plug-in

Is it possible to get a MIDI signal into an FX plug-in? There are a few I'd like to do this with, vocoders, auto-tune, and Native Instruments' The Finger (who named that, please?) and I just can't seem to find out how to route MIDI into an FX plug-in.

Is this something ACID can't do?

I'm running v7.0c, by the way.

Many thanks,

Dan

No, ACID does not allow MIDI to be routed to an FX plug-in.

We have had this request before, and will be considering it for a future version.

Well, that's annoying! This is clearly something that competing DAWs have over ACID, so I'd have thought this might have been addressed a long time ago.

I'm using an open source DAW as a work around for this functionality only, but I really hope it will appear in a future release.
