Subject:(v5.0) Waveform display is inaccurate and status format shifts when zooming

I see what would sound like a click or pop at the end of sound files. There's nothing there and this
dissappears when zooming. Still, I have to check this to make sure there's nothing there.

When using Measures&Beats as a time display/status format, the measure and beat lines/numbers
shift around when zooming in and out.

I've been using Sound Forge for many years and I didn't have any of these problems with prior versions.

The plugins that came with the product do not work with the serial number printed in the manual.

Any fixes planned for this?

This sounds like a video card driver issue. If you update
the drivers for your video card from the manufacturer's
website, the problem may go away.

FWIW- I reported the same problem a few weeks ago and was told it was added to list of things to be fixed.

I am experiencing the same problem and have the most
current drivers for my S3Verge video card. I have no
problems with any other apps.

Hi.
I reported this trouble (inaccurate waveform display when
double clicking from ACID 2 to jump to Sounf Forge) to SF
about 2 weeks ago. They said it is a known trouble.
Update: Downloaded the Acid #.0 Beta and guess what, the
waveform display is now perfectly accurate.
This hints that Sound Forge 5.0 is using the same engine as
Acid 3.0 which I hear is the same as Vegas.
Perhaps there will be a fix for ACID 2.0 users...

I am having the same problem, and it is not a driver issue. This was not a problem in SF 4.5! So it must be a
V5.0 issue.

These issues will be addressed in the forthcoming update
for Sound Forge 5.0.
