ACID Music Studio 7.0 "Static" Problem -ACID Product Family

Subject:ACID Music Studio 7.0 "Static" Problem Posted by: Umikah Date:9/5/2009 1:03:40 PM I have a problem with static in ACID Music Studio 7.0. I hear an internittent static noise when tracks are NOT playing. I don't hear the noise when tracks are playing. I also don't hear the static when I render tracks. It's something in ACID Music Studio 7.0 that is causing the static. It's a low rumbling static. When I click on other programs, the static goes away. Any ideas on how to get rid of it? I think the problem may have started when I mistakenly changed a setting or something (not sure which one). Any way of going to default settings without losing plug-ins? I'm running Windows XP. It is difficult to help with out know what type of hardware - specifically audio hardware - you are using. Are you using the Wave Mapper, Wave Classic, or ASIO drivers with your audio hardware. (This is set on the Audio Device preference page.) Any way of going to default settings without losing plug-ins? Hold down Ctrl+Shift when you start AMS. This will prompt you to reset AMS' internal preferences. Peter

Subject:RE: ACID Music Studio 7.0 "Static" Problem Reply by: Bremen Cole Date:10/2/2009 5:53:09 PM Do a search on the net for "ASIO4ALL drivers" download and install. Then select it in Acid as you audio driver. Preferences/audio. Your problem will most likely be solved.
