From Vegas, stereo music soundtrack for DVD

Settings:

Audio Service
- Stereo DVD
- 192/48/24/ac3/stereo
- Dialogue Norm -27 , and up to -2

Preprocessing:
- Film: Standard
- Music: Standard

The highest peak level I seem to be able to squeeze out of it is low on the DVDA timeline (no meter so can see exactly). And I am unable to open the AC3 file in Vegas or SF !

Any ideas ?

OK, just rendered a WAV to tgest. This is normal level in SF (etc) but shows tiny in DVDA - so I guess that is where the problem (or some setting) is.

OK - fixed it. It was the DRC settings in the AC-3 Preprocessing tab. Why there isn't a default ( THE default ?) template set for WYSIWYG I can't imagine.
