I would like to know if anyone else has experienced any problems with Sound Forge 10.0? I use Vegas Pro 9.0a to edit mix multi-track audio / video. Until now I have had no problems with selecting to open a file with Sound Forge in order to edit the audio; however, since I just upgraded to Version 10.0 Build 368 ... the program (SF10) has corrupted at least three of my audio tracks on different occasions. I can open the track as before, but when I select Save the program goes to save the revised audio file and then it seems like it is getting ready to rebuild the levels and it corrupts the file. I always get something about a bad marker or something like that and then the next thing I know my audio track is toast :( Any ideas? |

There's a bug in SF 10.0 that causes troubles with files that contain markers/regions and have an area of silence at the end: When saved, the regions can get shifted and changed, the end of the file can be cut off. In order to avoid these problems, you could try to use the "Save as"-command in SF10 instead of just hitting Ctrl-S. For me, the safe solution is to use an older version of SF until this issue is resolved (which should be the case in the next update - the bug is already reported and confirmed). Cheers Gerald |

Thanks, at least I can still switch back to 9.0x for now :( I don't have to worry about messing up more songs. |

Had it corrupting my files in Sonar, both from the tools menu (editing within Sonar), and just editing the waves outside of Sonar. I switched back to 9.0e and solved my problem for now. Does anyone know when the update to cure this will be out? |

Can anyone confirm if this is fixed in 10.0a? The readme wasn't completely clear on this. Is there somewhere I can find all of the reported/known bugs, as referenced in the post above? |
