I want to know how to save files in MP3 format with a better quality than : 56 kbits/s 22,050 Hz stereo; Thank you for your help |

Click your save as in your file menu, and click drop down arrow on save as type, then click drop down arrow on template, select setting you want, then click custom button, and select settings you want from there, then you should be good to go |

I don't see a "template" field in the save dialog. I'm having the same problem with saving mp3. I can't save them better than 56k. You've tested this in version 5? Thanks, rn |

I see what you mean I tried what you said and I can only get a higher quality when I select WMA then MP3 then I can get 160kbps |

I can't image Sonic Foundry would criple SF5 with limited mp3 quality. There must be some way to get it going. I'll try to get an email into tech support. The site makes it seem like you need to pay for support, but this is really a customer service question about the capablities of SF5 anyways. I'll post a message with my findings. It'd be great if you did the same with any info you come across. rn |
