Well I am in a band and we are looking to record using a microphone for my computer and Sound Forge 5.0.... This is what we need to do... Record the guitars on to one track or whatever... Next, record the bass, while at the same time listening to the guitars so the bass can play perfectly in time with him.. Etc, with all instruments. This way we can fiddle with all the instruemnts sound to create a good sound... Can I do this with SoundForge? Please email me! Thanks. |

Sound Forge isn't a multi-track program (it can work with only one track, stereo or mono, at a time). But--good news-- Vegas Audio LE, which is included with Sound Forge 5.0 is a multi-track tool. I don't have a copy of 5.0 yet but I do have Vegas and it's a truly great program and will do exactly what you want. Perhaps someone can verify the capabilities of the LE version that comes with SF 5.0? |
