Subject:Recording

This could be a very basic question, but I cannot record
from a CD. The format is *.cda. I have searched the Help
files and the troubleshooting guide. I am using Sound
Forge XP 4.5 (for the first time). I can open *.wav files
and make the changes I want. Any help would be appreciated.

You cannot take .cda files directly from the disc with
Sound Forge XP 4.5. You have to play the song with the
Windows CD player, and then click the record button in
Sound Forge XP.
