Subject:error saving a file

After editing a previously recorded mp3 file using SFXP
4.5h, I get the following error message when trying to save
the edited file - "An error occured saving the file. Make
sure there is enough room on the destination disk to save
this file". I have 31 gigs available. I have uninstalled
Sound Forge and reinstalled it but still get the same error
message. Any idea? It used to work fine.
