Subject:Plugin manager folders GONE!

Acid Pro 6 Ok, so since I have a ton of free VST plugins (God bless KVR!) I put them in different "folders" in the plugin manager tree view in Acid. You can make folders and name them whatever you want. So I did things like dynamics, lofi, reverbs, etc. That was a great way of organizing a ton of plugins instead of having them all grouped into the one folder called "VST" or "Third Party" which the tree has. Now, all of a sudden, my custom folders in the tree are gone. Does anyone know what file acid uses to store your folder structure in plugin manager? Cuz i'd love to back it up. Anyone know what could cause this or how to prevent it? HELP! Thanks. |

This information is stored in the registry for ACID 6 and cannot be saved out. I cannot explain what could have caused this. Peter |

Just a little nit, but this illustrates another reason why the registry is probably not a good place to store such information. |
