I am in the process of a hard drive swap which included the reinstallation of all my software. Sonic Foundry "sees" all of my old music files but cannot play them. I suspect that this is because I has "security" enabled when I first recorded them. How do I work around this problem? I still have the old hard drive with the original installation and can copy a file (or files) if that will solve it. Thanks in advance. |

I believe you are talking about Siren, since Sound Forge has no security feature. There is no way that these files can be recovered unfortunately. If you opt to turn the security function off, please read the disclaimer carefully. Ted |
