My Acid Pro 7 is Distorting...all tracks...no matter which song I select from my library...after a while messin'....I get a Warning...Fatal Error...ReWire.dll has failed...or something like that....so I've looked on the 'net...one guy asked about the same...6 months ago...no answer. I've downloaded a Rarr file of the ReWire.dll....but dont know where to open it to.....searched my pc and found the original ReWire.dll ....says its in my documents & settings...but when I look there...cant find it......Any Ideas...? Thank You!....Ian. |

Did you try the latest update to ACID Pro? (I would suggest uninstalling your current install and installing this update, which acts as the full version provided you have your serial key handy.) Iacobus |

Please fill out your system specs in your user profile!!!! The ReWire error message is usually the result of some other failure and rarely indicates that the ReWire subsystem has actually crashed. If you want to make sure you have the latest update for ReWire, visit the Propellerheads web site. I you want to provide some details on exactly what you are doing that eventually leads to the problem, that would be helpful. The more specific details the better. Have you installed something recently? Have you tried rolling back to an early point on you machine? Peter |

Thanks Lacobus & Peter,...I have 7c build. I was just about to re-install...but came here first. If I reInstall...can I just download the C build again...or do I have to reInstall my original Pro 7. ....and then do the update to 7c....? Peter...I'm not doing anything to make it happen...I just open up Acid and no matter if I try to play basck the song thats loaded already...from working previously....or if I select another one of my songs....its already happened. If I click on options ...Audio device.. and open the menu of my inputs.....my main input from my Soundblaster X-Fi soundcard front pannel...isn't showing...as it was before....even though the Device window is showing Creative Asio.. but the speaker settings (front L/R, rear L/R, are faded out (cant select)...where as before...I could change these settings..... I'm thinking theres a lot more goin' on here than just the ReWire.dll So I think I'll go for the Re-Install. I'll wait a while though....and see if you guys wanna tell me something. OK...Later...Thank You's....Ian. |
