Subject:FX ENVELOPE PROBLEM

Here's the problem,
Let's say I have a loop tracked up. I cut it in half using
Split Cursor and I apply an FX1 envelope to the second half
of the loop. Why does the first half of the loop apply the
FX even though it doesn't have the envelope? Can anyone
tell me what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.

you need to apply an FX1 envelope to the first half of the
loop as well, just as you did with the second part. but
move the envelope of the first part all the way down to -0
db, effectively muting the effect.
