I just up-graded from version 6 to 7. I've got the code from Sony, entered the code into Acid just like it asks, I registered, it completed the registration and now every time I try and run acid it tells me I'll need administrative privileges to complete the registration (which I give when it prompts me too) then everything just disappears and that's it. No acid...no SONG i'VE BEEN WORKING ON FOR THE PAST WEEK....nothing. I un-installed acid and tried again...nothing....does this have to do with the RETARDED administrative privileges that Microsoft has running on Vista? Does anyone know...I have tones of work to do!!! HELP!!!! |

Actually, the problem isn't really solved because I have to right click and run as admin every time I need to use acid, but I suppose it's not acid's fault, this looks like something to do with windows. Does anyone know how to get rid of this anyway? |

You could try disabling User Account Control - http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/58b3b879-924d-4e08-9358-c316055d3eae1033.mspx or always run the application as administrator - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/always-start-an-application-in-administrator-mode-on-windows-vista/ |
